Tree plantation program at the beautiful Hill Park Garden

Rotary Club of Butwal proudly organized tree plantation program at the beautiful Hill Park Garden premises, coinciding with the auspicious festivals of Dashain and Tihar. This initiative aimed to contribute to making the garden beautiful and decorative.

On this special occasion, we successfully planted a total of 65 plants, carefully selected from 8 different species that are known to thrive in garden settings. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 30 dedicated Rotarians, all committed to making a positive impact on our Hill Park council and environment.

After the completion of the plantation activities, we transitioned into a heartfelt greeting exchange program. This segment of the event featured young and inspiring entrepreneurs, Mr. Kamal Jung Kuwar and Er. Rajan Pandey, who shared their insights and experiences with our members on the meeting. Their presence added a vibrant touch to the proceedings and underscored the importance of dedication,hard-work and positivism for emerging leaders.

The event was expertly handled by our Club Secretary, Rtn. Keshav Bashyal, The chairmanship was ably held by Rtn. Baburam Banjade, the President of RC Butwal Downtown, whose leadership has been instrumental in guiding our club’s initiatives.

Rtn. Dharma Gyawali was delivered welcome speech, setting a positive tone for the gathering and emphasizing the significance of program. Following the welcome, Rtn. Prakash Bhusal expressed our gratitude and appreciation in his vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of all participants and supporters of the event.

Adding to the ambiance, several past presidents of the club, including Rtn. Tanka Parajuli, Man Bdr BK, Rajendra Dhakal, and Jeevan Adhikari, shared their encouraging words. Their contributions to the program highlighted the enduring spirit and commitment of the Rotary Club of Butwal to serve the community and promote initiatives that benefit both people and the planet.

Overall, the tree plantation program was not only a significant step toward enhancing our local environment but also a wonderful opportunity for fellowship among Rotarians and the wider community. We look forward to continuing our efforts in making Butwal a greener and more sustainable place for future generations.
